Thanks for giving Historic Huguenot Street a shout out! Visiting our site is great, but period photos such as this give our history another dimension. The Jean Hasbrouck House is one of seven museum houses here at Historic Huguenot Street. This photo is included in one of the many online exhibits that Hudson River Valley Heritage hosts for us. You can see them by visiting www.huguenotstreet.org or www.hrvh.org. Also, for those interested in period photographs of historic Dutch-style stone houses or small-town life in the 40s and 50s, the Elting Library in New Paltz has just posted a great online exhibit on www.hrvh.org entitled, "The Photography of Erma Dewitt."
